Susan is the recipient of six Emmy awards for outstanding on-air performance. She took classes at the famed Second City Theatre in Chicago.

She has a Bachelor's in communication from Loyola University and a Master's in journalism from Roosevelt University.

As a single mom, Susan adopted a young girl from India. They currently reside in the Chicago area with their two cats.

The cats are also available for hire. Special skills include napping, shedding and howling for food.
